Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy February! We are gearing up for conferences at the end of this week and look forward to sharing the results from our January MAPS and DIBELS assessments. On January 24, our teachers dedicated time to analyzing student data to tailor instruction to each child’s individual needs. This includes setting up interventions for students who need extra support, as well as providing challenges for those ready to extend their learning. It’s exciting to see their growth!
February is typically a slower month, but we do have a few important events coming up. Valentine’s Day parties will be held on February 13 at 2:30 PM. Also, there will be no school on February 17 in observance of Presidents’ Day—enjoy the extra time with your families!
February often feels like the calm before the storm. Once spring arrives, the pace picks up with field trips, class projects, and other activities. It’s a fun and busy time of year! For now, we encourage you to enjoy the slower pace of February.
