It’s hard to believe we’re already in the final stretch of the school year! We have so many exciting events and celebrations coming up, and we want to make sure you have all the important dates on your calendar. Please take a moment to review the schedule below:
Upcoming Events & Important Dates
May 7 – Mental Health Day
We’ll be taking time to celebrate wellness with some popsicle fun!
May 8 – 5th Grade Middle School Tour
Our 5th graders will get a chance to explore the middle school and start getting excited for the next chapter!
May 12 –Empire Electric Visit – 5th Grade
Bucket truck rides are planned—permission slips will be sent home soon.
May 13 –
- 2nd & 3rd Grade Field Trip
- Pre-K Field Trip
May 14 –
- 5th Grade Water Festival Field Trip
- First Grade Author’s Tea @ 3:30
May 15 –
- Last Day of After-School Program
- Kindergarten & 1st Grade Field Trip
- Community Night – Join us for an evening of fun and celebration, starting at 4:00 p.m. Come see your student’s “Night at the Museum” Project and join us for free Frito pie. All community members are welcome - we would like everyone to come and see what’s happening at Dove Creek Elementary - this isn’t just for parents!!
May 19 – 3rd–5th Grade Reading Award Trip
May 20 –
- K–2 Reading Award Trip
- Pre-K Graduation in the Pup’s Den at Dove Creek Elementary School – 8:30 a.m.
May 21 –
- Field Day (Morning)
- Talent Show – 1:00 p.m.
May 22 – End-of-Year Celebrations & Early Release
- Kindergarten Graduation in the Pup’s Den at Dove Creek Elementary School – 8:30 a.m.
- 5th Grade Continuation & Quarter Awards in the Pup’s Den at Dove Creek Elementary School – 9:30 a.m.
- Early Release at 1:00 p.m.
Thank you for a fantastic school year filled with growth, learning, and community. We are so proud of all our Bullpups and look forward to finishing strong with these joyful celebrations!
